Welcome to John Snabel Landscape Photography website. As you will see the majority of the images in the various galleries are from a series of visits made to the USA since I retired in 2005; this also coincided with my conversion from film to mainly digital photography.
I have been interested in photography for over 40 years. My early photography was mainly Black and White using an old Rolleicord twin lens camera producing prints for club competitions. I later moved on to 35mm slides using a variety of Canon cameras, one of which I still use today for producing slides.
Many of the images in the galleries were taken on Photographic Workshops with Nigel Turner and Light and Land. I have been inspired by the range of landscape opportunities, both in the USA and locations closer at hand.
I am also a member of Kings Norton Photographic Society Birmingham and many of the images have been used in both club and interclub competitions.
